Waterloo Region

ClimateActionWR will be presenting their TransformWR Climate Action Strategy to Waterloo Region Townships and Cities starting May 31 and ending June 22. As the dates for these council meetings draw closer, we're hosting pre delegation meetings to learn how we can delegate alongside each other in support of the report and 50by30.

Canada on Fire

On September 8th, while catastrophic climate events continue to erupt around us, Kitchener-Waterloo will be demanding emergency-level climate action. Join us at Waterloo Public Square to call for a moratorium on fossil fuel expansion and just transition legislation. Together, we can show our elected officials that climate change will be a central issue to voters this year as record-breaking climate events ravage communities coast-to-coast. Bring face masks, friends, and signs as we demand our politicians to muster up the courage to combat the climate crisis.
